Why and what are pre-wedding photoshoots? Is a question I’ve been asked a few times.
Wedding photography can be daunting; having a photographer pointing their camera in your direction during your wedding day is a concern for most brides and grooms. A pre-wedding photoshoot is an ideal opportunity to eliminate any worries you may have. Comments such as “I hate having my photo taken” and “I feel really awkward in front of the camera” will be a thing of the past and you can relax on the big day. The sessions are natural, fun and totally relaxed capturing photographs of you being yourselves! It’s also a great time for me to give you some gentle guidance to make sure I get the best from you on your wedding day. Having a selection of images to enjoy ahead of your wedding is an added bonus. It also gives me the opportunity to get to know you both more, which also means you don’t have a stranger attending your wedding. Plus on top of all that, they come freeeee in my wedding package!! ;-)
My recent session with Jessica and Mark was certainly fun; I think I laughed for an hour. Digbeth, Birmingham was such a fun urban setting with its graffiti art and is in complete contrast to their wedding venue. We had a little walk about chatting about their April wedding - which sounds fabulous - while stopping to take photo’s along the way. I think Jess & Mark had great fun, well they look like they did anyway!
